The Daisy Appeal - Funding new treatment in Cancer, Heart Disease and Dementia

Nick Stafford and The Daisy Building under construction

Phase 2

The charity is raising £6.6 million to enable local patients to receive earlier, faster and accurate diagnosis of diseases such as cancer, heart disease or dementia.

Phase 2 of the appeal will purchase a PET-CT Scanner and Cyclotron housed in a purpose built facility at Castle Hill Hospital. This will provide a unique way of delivering top class scanning to the community. A second cyclotron will be based at the University for the use of scientists to develop new disease markers and drug treatments.

This will result in earlier detection and greater accuracy in treating cancer, heart disease and certain neurological diseases.

Our Phase 2 initiative will help directly help research and treatment for those who need it in the Humberside area.

Every penny counts, and it's easy to donate and get involved!
